Challenge the norm – dare to use more light

Campus Bornholm constitutes the major educational institution on the island of Bornholm. They offer a variety of courses ranging from high school, business college and technical school to supplementary training and adult vocational training, making Campus Bornholm the regional gateway to a professional careers and higher education. More than 1 500 youths and 4 100 adults attend courses there.
The project included a new school building for education, primarily, but also communication areas, acitivity areas and hallways. As agent in the green transformation we strive to integrate environmental concerns in our projects. The lighting solution is therefore with LED and Tunable White, in order to save energy and make the project more sustainable and efficient in using its resources.
We used our classic pendant and recessed Notor in classrooms, hallways and toilets in the premises. Notor fits the ceiling very well and gives a glare free light, suitable for concentration and learning situations. In the classrooms we used Lento*, a luminaire for lighting pictures and whiteboards with a controlled pattern of light. Lento LED provides high lighting comfort with a soft gradient between lit and unlit surfaces.
