Lighting control in stairwells
Lighting in stairwells is often on unnecessarily. In residential buildings, there is the most movement in the morning and evening, while at other times, movement is more sporadic. Stairwells in hospitals, offices, or hotels are used less frequently, but the lights are often fully on. With smart control, the lighting can be turned on one floor above and below the floor where detection occurs, saving energy and creating a sense of security for those in the stairwell.
